Acer palmatum 'Katja'

‘Katja' is a gorgoeous Japanse maple that leafs out with a beautiful purple-red color in the early spring, maturing to a purple-red border on a green leaf by late spring. The leafs stalks are bright red making a great three tone contrast. Secondary flushes of growth in the summer are purple-red. In the fall, this Japanese maple turns a bright orange.
