Acer Palmatum - Sango kaku
Coral Bark Japanese Maple - Has year round appeal - highlighted in winter when stems and branches turn fluorescent coral in colour. Leaves are pale green and contrast well with other green trees, but may scorch in full sun. Japanese name means ‘coral tower’. (syn. ‘Senkaki’) Awards: Award of Merit & Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
