Acer Palmatum - Sunshine
Holds its yellow-green colour throughout the summer. The new leaves emerge pink-red with yellow-orange centres, the yellow spreading from the base of the mid veins to give an extended spring-flower colour season. The leaves slowly turn light yellow-green throughout the summer before becoming a light green. The full colour is a vivid orange-red. The leaves have five to seven broad, moderately divided lobes that spread out. Each ovate lobe has a triangular, pointed tip and clearly toothed margins.
